Welcome to Projectant ("the Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our application and services. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
Your privacy and the security of your data are our highest priority. The Service is built on Google's Firebase platform, which provides robust infrastructure and security controls. We have implemented technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
While we leverage these powerful tools to secure the application's backend, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
All payment and subscription processing is handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
We do not store, process, or have access to your credit card information. When you enter your payment details, you are providing them directly to Stripe over a secure connection. Our integration uses the official Firebase Stripe Extension, which ensures this separation is maintained and your payment data never touches our servers.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we have built the application on highly redundant, serverless infrastructure (Firebase App Hosting and Firestore) which has a high degree of availability, we do not currently offer a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) with guaranteed uptime percentages. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the Service available to you.
Projectant is a new and developing service. As such, we have not yet undergone formal third-party certification for standards like ISO 27001 or SOC 2. However, we are committed to security best practices and have built our application on the Google Cloud Platform, which maintains these and many other certifications for its infrastructure.
You are solely responsible for all data, text, and other content that you upload to the Service. You agree not to use the Service to transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes upon the rights of others. We reserve the right, but do not have the obligation, to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Projectant, its affiliates, agents, directors, or employees, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, that result from the use of, or inability to use, this service.
You can terminate your account at any time from the "Account Settings" page. This action is irreversible and will permanently delete your user profile and all projects you own. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without respect to its conflict of laws principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes, and your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
